NGO CCR believes that Children are experts of their own lives and hence must begiven space and opportunity to meaningfully participate in development of their country.
However, children have remained invisible despite forming the over 50% of the Malawian population (NSO 2018). Not many children have been given an opportunity/platform to express their views and contribute on issues that are affecting their lives.
An informed and willing involvement of children in different ways and/or in anymatter concerning them either directly or indirectly. Child participation is generally realized when a person below the age of 18 isaccorded space or an opportunity to meaningfully contribute or participate at alllevels of decision making.
NGO CCR therefore calls for a meaningful and high-quality involvement of children in all platforms to ensure that all their needs are taken on board by duty bearers.
